Automatic consistency between documentation and development? BIOTRONIK shows you how

When creating software documentation, one thing’s for sure: ensuring that interface terms in the software match the technical documentation presents a particular challenge for technical writers. If a term changes on the software interface, it must also be changed in the documentation. The same applies to adjustable values on the software interface, which are often changed just before development is complete. When there are several different versions of the software and the documentation, updating the changes is a cumbersome task which often involves a separate editing process. Continue reading

SCHEMA Conference 2016: Pleasure before Celebration!

SMA_Logo_Conference_4cOn June 14 and 15, it was that time again: The SCHEMA Conference 2016 opened its doors, and hosted one of the industry’s largest meetings in the Messe Nürnberg. Not only the numbers confirm that the yearly SCHEMA Conference now counts as one of the real highlights in the TechDoc industry: after two densely-packed conference days, with lectures on two levels in the Convention Center West of the Nürnberg Messe, with more than 500 international participants from 21 countries, and 44 talks by high-quality lecturers, we not only had a new visitor record, but also received confirmation of the increased importance of this event.
