BSH and ST4: a new partnership brings interactivity to manuals

BSH Hausgeräte GmbH is Europe’s largest household appliance manufacturer, with brands such as Bosch and Siemens and products for all areas of everyday life. And because BSH relies on SCHEMA ST4, with 150 technical editors in various locations and around 100,000 “live” publications in up to 50 languages, it is also one of SCHEMA’s biggest customers. Networked home appliances have already been a reality for BSH for some years, and the company is now also preparing for its next developmental leap in technical documentation. How does the result look in hindsight? Questions which he’ll answer for us here. Continue reading

tekom Annual Fair in Stuttgart, Take Two

The tekom annual conference 2015 in Stuttgart is over, a fact we regard with one laughing and one weeping eye, since we SCHEMANIANS always like going to the most important fair for the area of technical documentation. Our fair booth team works together seamlessly, and we get to meet existing and potential customers, partners, and friends. We discuss and celebrate together, everybody has the same tired feet, and after the second day at the latest everybody is looking forward to “normal life” outside the fair halls. Continue reading

You are familiar with this scenario: The agent delivered the prototypes and now the only thing that is left is to transfer the design into the CMS.
